Registering a Domain Name
In order to host a website at an address like www.yourdomain.co.za or in order to enable the use of email address(es) @yourdomain.co.za it is necessary to register the domain name. Domain Registration is separate to hosting and does not include any actual services. The "Initial Registration" includes the first year of domain ownership, and the "Annual Renewal" will only be billed for at the end of the first year.

Note:
Domain transfers are free when combined with a hosting service. It should be noted that .co.za transfers are easy and generally done within 24 hours, while .com, .net, etc are sometimes more complicated and can take anywhere from a few days to two weeks or more.
